I have a BA in Psychology and a Masters’ degree in Business Administration. I was afforded the opportunity to travel extensively throughout my career appreciating and enjoying the social, cultural, and ethnic diversity that is this country. I had always been passionate about art and used my travel as an opportunity to collect art objects from the various places I visited. It was during this time that I began to imagine creating my own art. To this end, I took lessons from local artisans, refining my understanding of color, texture, and form. I melded my understanding of people with an innate love of art and began to create one of a kind art jewelry, hats that are whimsical and stylish, yet functional and distinctive handwoven scarves and home goods. I found that immersing myself in beauty helped me navigate the stresses and pressures of life, I hope it will do the same for you!
I am a member of the Patuxent Lapridary Guild and the Annapolis Arts Alliance.
